Andre (Andrea) Tipungwuti

Andrea (Andre) was born in Pirlangimpi; Andrea moves between the 3 communities of the Tiwi Islands, Pirlangimpi, Milikapeti and Wurrumiyang. He works at Munupi Art when he stays in Pirlangimpi.Andrea is an artist who expresses herself and see the world around her changing rapidly, while at the same time wants to keep the Tiwi culture strong in the modern world.Andrea likes to paint designs about the Kulama ceremonies, as well as her own creative designs inspired from the Tiwi culture
