Regina Kantilla is very active in the community and is a well-respected strong cultural woman with a great sense of humour. Regina loves music, singing and dancing and is an active participant for the Ngarukuruwala woman’s singing group. A great performer Regina is also a weaver and a painter who normally lives on Bathurst Islands and visits often her family In Pirlangimpi. She also works with the schools on both Islands teaching cultural education in particular traditional songs and dancing. A “Singer” and master of ceremony Regina practices both Tiwi culture and Christianity.
